What to Expect at a Pops Series Concert
Pops Series at the Long Beach Arena, part of the Long Beach Convention Center at 300 E. Ocean Blvd.
The doors open at 6:00 PM for picnicking and the concert starts at 7:30 PM. Concerts last approximately 2 hours. You can bring your own food and drink or order for table delivery from our catering page.
Planning Your Evening
Pops is a great place to network, visit friends, or make new ones. The orchestra presents mostly familiar tunes, with an emphasis on popular classics of all genres—classic rock, jazz, Broadway, light classics, and features talented guest artists. Each show is unique, but we guarantee that each will be enjoyable.
The audience is relaxed and often on their feet. Dress comfortably or align with the theme. Dancing shoes are always encouraged. There are two dance floors to be enjoyed by all, located at each side of the stage. We consider each concert to be a party. Just make sure you have a safe trip home!
Make it a Party! The Pops Series is a fun and friendly way to enjoy an entertaining night out. There are two ways to experience the Pops—either at a table of up to 10 people on the Arena floor, or from the upstairs loge in a theater-style seat. If you choose a table, tickets are assigned to individual tables but seating at the table is open seating.
What Can I Bring?
You may bring food and drink to the Long Beach Arena. You can also bring wine bottles, wine glasses and beer bottles inside (factory sealed containers only). There is also a bar where spirits may be purchased.
Picnic baskets and coolers are permitted. For the safety of all our patrons and to comply with fire regulations, the aisles and walkways of the Long Beach Arena must be kept clear at all times.
What Can I NOT Bring? Non-factory sealed beverages are prohibited from the Long Beach Arena. For a full list of prohibited items click here.
- Pre-order In-House Catering through TGIS or Bogarts! Your order will be delivered to your table. Sorry, no deliveries/pre-orders for stadium loge seating.
- Light concessions are also available in the Arena lobby (sandwiches, snacks, beverages). There are 2 full-service bars for alcoholic drinks inside the Arena, located at the rear walls.
Parking at the Convention Center is $15 per vehicle. Subscribers have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking for $10 per vehicle. The Center’s parking attendants will direct patrons to the best available parking space. Please inform the first available attendant if you need to be directed to handicap/accessible parking. Overnight parking is not allowed.
The parking entrance for the Arena is through Seaside Way or Shoreline Drive. For ride share, ask to be dropped off in front of the Arena through Seaside Way.

This event is most likely being photographed or filmed by Long Beach Symphony or other patrons. By attending this event you are consenting to the possible use of your image and/or likeness for Long Beach Symphony’s advertising and promotional purposes in print and online. This consent extends to include any accompanying minors.
