John E. Romundstad

I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I have been practicing law for 49 years, focusing on business and real estate transactions, estate planning and administration, and tax planning. In addition to my law degree (J.D.), I have a Master’s Degree in Taxation (LL.M., Taxation) and am a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law, State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.
I am on the Board of the Rotary Club of Long Beach, the Greater Long Beach YMCA, the Bucket List Project Foundation, and serve on the State Bar Taxation Committee.
I have been married for 43 years. My wife, Elizabeth, and have one child, a daughter. We have lived in Long Beach since 1988, and have a second home in Friday Harbor, Washington, in the San Juan Islands.
