Please indicate for which position you intend to audition or if you will audition for both.
Deposit: $50 deposit due with application. One deposit will cover both auditions for both positions. Your deposit will be returned to you upon check-in at auditions or timely cancellation.

Services: Long Beach Symphony’s 2027-2028 season consists of 5 Classical, 5 Pops, 2 Youth, and 2 Family Concerts.
Compensation: 2026-2027 Base Scale: $171.49 Rehearsal / $215.53 Performance. 2027-2028 Base Scale: $180.06 Rehearsal / $226.13 Performance
Base Scale subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Employment Requirements:
Long Beach Symphony employs a union orchestra with a Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFM Local 7. All hired musicians must join AFM Local 7 as a condition of employment with Long Beach Symphony. The winning candidate(s) will be required to show proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.
